Zodiac

The 2007 thriller directed by David Fincher depicts the infamous true story of the 'zodiac' killer set in the late 1960s and early 1970s. With a star studded casts including the likes of Jake gylenhal and Robert Downey Jr high expectations are met as the film delivers hard hitting, gasp inducing moments. The film follows a cartoonist working for the San  Francisco paper, as the Zodiac taunts and hints to both the police and the paper this cartoonist soon becomes a vigilant amateur detective. At times this film can be quite slow and feel quite tiring. But the real thriller aspects are in the misc-en-scene which was carefully depicted by Finche, the misc-en-scene is set to depict the current time and era through out the whole film we see dull colors and lighting which i think accentuates the thrill and excitement occurring behind all the dullness
